When Dorset and Bournemouth councils approved providers we were the only approved provider for both councils for many years, with consistently excellent feedback for all students.
Our Paediatric First Aid course can also include protocols for working outdoors so is suitable for those running Forest Schools .
Our tutor lead courses are all practical with no PowerPoint or exams, only good old tutor ongoing assessments.
Our blended courses have 6 hours on-line with a final exam and a 6 hours practical tutor lead session normally over one day or two evenings.
Each student will receive one of our own amazing first aid manuals and certificate valid for three years on successful completion of the course.
Our courses are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and fully comply with the requirements of Early years , Ofsted, Health and Safety (HSE)(First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Resuscitation Council (UK)
Our one day Emergency First aid at work courses are suitable for people who need a basic First Aid qualification to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes unwell whilst at work.
We can also add extra protocols to this course in line with the First Aid at Work Regulations Appendix 4 as required, such as Forestry +F , Oxygen administration including masks, Airway Adjuncts, Bag valve Mask use, Drowning and Hypothermia to mention just a few. (This will require extra time allocated to the course as required)
Our First Aid at Work training is delivered by ex-front line Ambulance staff with first hand experience in providing real first aid to casualties in sometimes arduous situations.
Our tutor lead courses are all practical with no PowerPoint or written exams , only good old tutor ongoing assessments and a small practical assessment on the three day course.
We run open courses across Dorset and can also bring the training to your setting for a group of students as required.
We can also run this course at our outdoor woodland training centre ensuring the training is as real as possible.
The Plus F aspect covers all outdoor Protocols for anyone working outdoors in the Forestry sector.
Each student will receive a current first aid manual and certificate valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

This three day course is suitable for people who need a more advanced First Aid qualification to provide first aid to someone who is injured, becomes unwell or suffers a medical emergency at work.
We have the option to run this course blended so you will only need 2 days of face to face training along with some pre-course online learning.
The two day Refresher course is suitable for people who already hold a current First Aid At Work certificate and wish to renew it for a further three years.
If their certificate has expired they have thirty days from date of expiry to attend the refresher course.
We can also add extra protocols to this course in line with the First Aid at Work Regulations Appendix 4 as required, such as Forestry +F , Oxygen administration including masks, Airway Adjuncts, Bag valve Mask use, Drowning and Hypothermia to mention just a few. This two day course is suitable for people who need a First Aid qualification to provide First Aid to someone who is injured, becomes unwell or is suffering from a medical emergency in a remote outdoor environment and is ideal for any Forest School Leader.
We run the course as a full 16 hours contact time or we have a Blended approach where the basic theory can be done online.
Assessment is done by continuous observation and questioning during the course with a final practical assessment conducted on the last day.
All our Outdoor First Aid training is delivered by ex-front line Ambulance staff with outdoor experience and first-hand experience in providing real first aid to casualties in sometimes arduous outdoor situations.
Our tutor lead courses are all practical with no PowerPoint or exams, only good old tutor ongoing assessments.
We predominantly run these courses at our outdoor woodland training centre ensuring the training is as real as possible, however we can bring the training to the clients workplace if a suitable outdoor venue is available.
Each student will receive a current First Aid manual and certificate valid for three years on successful completion of a practical assessment at the end of the course.
