We can also run a huge variety of in house awareness training to suite any of your Health and Safety needs.

Health and safety and risk assessment training

This course is normally a bespoke course designed to suit a client's specific staff needs from boardroom to shop floor and areas of training required such as Risk Assessment, COSHH, Fire, Manual Handling, Working at Height and many others. 

Depending on the outcomes and level required this course can be run over either a half or full days training.

 All our Health and Safety training is delivered by staff with recognised qualifications and industry experience. 

This tutor lead course is heavy on theory with some PowerPoint; however practical sessions will be included depending on outcomes, and there are no exams, only good old ongoing tutor assessments.

We like to bring this training to our client’s workplace to ensure we make it as real as possible and can hold on site discussions and training on your equipment, policies and procedures.

Each student will receive a Health and Safety awareness certificate including course outcomes valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

This course is accredited by Whitehorse and fully complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and other regulations as required.

Manual Handling training

This half day course is suitable for people who need to manually move items and equipment at work in the safest possible way.

All our Manual handling training is delivered by staff with industry experience in assessing manual handling tasks.

Our tutor lead courses have some theory and practical sessions with no PowerPoint or exams, only good old ongoing tutor  assessments.

We like to bring this training to our client’s workplace to ensure we make it as real as possible and can hold on site discussions about best options going forward.

During the practical lifting undertaken on this course, delegates will have the option not to lift objects if unable to do so due to medical issues.

Each student will receive a manual handling awareness certificate valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

This course is accredited by Whitehorse and fully complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety (HSE) Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended) and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Practical People Moving and Handling Training

This course is suitable for all staff involved in People Moving and Handling in a work, home or social care environment and can be designed to fit a client’s specific needs such as Risk Assessments, Adults, Children, Babies and Moving Equipment training as required.

All our People Moving training is delivered by staff with industry and NHS experience in People Moving. 

Our tutor lead courses have some theory and practical sessions with no PowerPoint or exams only good old ongoing  tutor assessments.

We like to bring this training to our client’s workplace to ensure we make it as real as possible and can hold on site discussions and training on your moving equipment, procedures and best options going forward.

We will also bring a selection of manikins for practical sessions ensuring the training is as real as possible. 

Each student will receive a Moving and Handling awareness certificate including course outcomes valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

This course is accredited by Whitehorse and fully complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety (HSE) Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended), the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Fire Safety Training

This course is suitable for all staff involved in Fire Safety at Work and can be designed to fit a client's specific needs such as Risk Assessments, Fire Marshalling, Extinguishers and Emergency Evacuation training as required.

All our Fire Safety training is delivered by staff with industry experience in Fire Safety. 

Our tutor lead courses have some theory and practical sessions with no PowerPoint or exams only good old  ongoing tutor assessments.

We like to bring this training to our client’s workplace to ensure we make it as real as possible and can hold on site discussions on your fire equipment, procedures and best options going forward.

We will bring a selection of extinguishers and fire blankets for use during a practical session. However no real fires are used during our training.
We will also bring a full sized adult manikin for Emergency Evacuation Sledge training to ensure the training is as real as possible. 

Each student will receive a Fire Safety awareness certificate including course outcomes valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

This course is accredited by Whitehorse and fully complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety (HSE) Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Working at height Training

This half day course is suitable for regular or occasional ladder and stepladder users whether at work or home. 

All our Working at Height training is delivered by staff with industry experience in working at height safely. 

Our tutor lead courses have some theory and practical sessions with no PowerPoint or exams only good old ongoing  tutor assessments.

We like to bring this training to our client’s workplace to ensure we make it as real as possible and can hold on site discussions on your equipment and best options going forward.

We will bring a selection of ladders, stepladders and working at height aids for the students to examine and discuss.

There is no actual practical working from ladders or step ladders during this course.

Each student will receive a working at height awareness certificate valid for three years on successful completion of the course.

This course is accredited by Whitehorse and fully complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety (HSE) Working at Height Regulations 2005 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
